Keeping your email address updated on Ysos is extremely important for the proper functioning of your profile.
Whether to contact us or to restore your account, it is necessary for the email to be valid and active. The process of email verification and editing is the same.
Whenever you need, you can edit your registration email. See in the step by step below how simple it is:
The first step is to access “My Profile”, located in the lower right corner of the screen, and then the Gear shortcut, in the top right of the screen, it will open the “Settings” page.
To proceed with editing the email, tap on “Change Login Information.“
Next, tap on “Change email“, if your email has already been confirmed, or “Verify email” if it is still pending.
If your email is pending verification, you can tap on “Resend link” and then confirm it in your email inbox. If you want to insert a different email, you can select “Change email“.
Fill in the “What is your email?” field with the address and then tap on the “Save and resend link in email“.
By doing this, you will see a message informing you that the verification link has been sent to you. Check your inbox. If you have not received it, also check the Spam folder.
Then, you will need to access the newly registered email and find the message “Authenticate your email“.
Just open the message and tap on the blue text or button: “Verify my email“. Then, you will see the image below confirming the procedure:
If the error message show up, you will need to request a new send by redoing the process, once the link may have expired.
