The face photo in the profile or in the public gallery was prohibited until today, but that has just changed!
As ysos is an app whose premises are security and secrecy, the face photo was only allowed in the private gallery.
Being the space where only those you authorize can access, the photos (and your identity) are preserved there.
Some people had resistance for not being able to connect with someone they didn’t see face from the beginning of the interaction.
- Who wants to show their face and needs to see their face right away to connect
- Who is afraid of exposing themselves and prefers to choose who can know their identity
So now you can choose how you want to use your face photo on ysos.
They will no longer be moderated if you put them as your profile picture or if you upload them in the public gallery.
But you can continue to use it safely. They are no longer prohibited, but they are not mandatory!
